There are moments in life that impact you hard and Vietnamese coffee is a taste and feeling that hits you. Phin Wave Coffee was born when two friends met in Da Nang, Vietnam and discovered that Vietnamese coffee wasn’t just a drink, but a moment.
It was a break from routine.
A pause in the day.
A few quiet minutes of connection, community, and focus.
Vietnamese coffee is traditionally brewed using the phin filter slow, intentional, and deeply satisfying. Made with robusta beans that naturally contain more caffeine, it gave us the energy and clarity to work, create, and stay present throughout the day.
When we returned to Europe, we realised how hard it was to find great Vietnamese coffee brewed this way and how often coffee felt rushed, overpriced, and forgettable. So we decided to create an alternative.
Phin Wave Coffee is our invitation to a simple ritual:

With just hot water, a cup, and a phin filter (available with the coffee or separately), you can brew consistently strong, smooth coffee anywhere. No machines. No noise. Just time well spent.
Our single-origin coffee is grown and sourced from trusted Vietnamese partners in Tây Nguyên in the Central Highlands of Vietnam including Gia Lai, Đắk Lắk, and Kon Tum.
It is 100% pure robusta, with a smooth, arabica-like character.
Expect rich chocolate notes, a clean body, and a gentle hint of tropical fruit on the finish.
